Here it goes!... Little me! Things I love (in no particular order!)… singing with my best/band mates Utopia (of course!), spending time with my gorgeous little family, my fab friends, music, dancing, sunshine, BBQ’s, holidays, dresses and shoes, running, comedy, red wine, a good night out, a good night in and a good party! I love so many different types of music… Rock, Indie, Garage, Drum & Bass, Swing, Jazz, Funky house, R&B, Motown…etc etc so pinning down a fav band or artist would be difficult but some favourites are… The Beatles, Snow Patrol, Elbow, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jackson! I dislike… sticky hands, trouble makers and party poopers!! I’ve sang and loved singing for as far back as I remember. As a child I loved singing songs by Patsy Cline, Ella Fitzgerald, Mariah Carey. My gigging days began a bit later in 2006 when I was encouraged and supported by my husband Justin… …The rest as they say is history…

I began drumming at the age of eleven and began to study the art and industry of music the following year. Since then, I have gone on to pursue a career in music, as well as achieving many proud moments along the way. Not even a year into my drumming experience I had formed my own band who performed and impressed and a University of Sunderland students exhibition. When I was just fifteen I performed for the first time at Should Shields' famous Customs House Theatre, which I then performed another two consecutive nights two years later. A real accomplishment of mine was midway through 2014 when I delivered (as a session musician for a choir) to a sold-out Sunderland Empire Theatre of over 2200 people. These are just a few of many triumphs I have experienced in my short few years within the music industry. In April 2015 I had the honour of performing at the Sage Theatre, Gateshead; sharing a stage with the likes of James Brown, Blondie and Morrissey. Finally, I am currently studying a degree in Applied Music Practice and have many more ambitions to conquer in my hopeful lengthy career in the music industry: Utopia is a honour to be apart of, providing entertainment and personality for you all, as well as acquiring it as another great accomplishment of mine.
